Committees are a key way members participate in shaping Union priorities and protecting our collective rights. Serving on a committee is one of the most direct ways to build Union power and ensure decisions reflect the lived experience of our membership.
The Union is organized into a few key committee groups:
- UCE Constitutional Committees - committees created via our Constitution
- UCE Ad Hoc Committees - committees created to address a specific need
- NYSUT Committees
