Financial Planning

The United College Employees of FIT is proud to offer a Financial Counseling Program as part of your union benefits.

This program provides access to a Certified Financial Planner from Stacey Braun Associates for a confidential, personalized review of your financial situation. Whether you are planning for retirement, managing debt, or simply looking for a second opinion, this benefit is designed to support your financial well-being.

Topics You Can Discuss

Your confidential consultation may include:

  • Retirement planning
  • Debt management
  • Budgeting
  • Investments including 403(b) plans
  • Estate planning
  • Elder care planning
  • Education funding strategies
  • Refinancing
  • Financial second opinions
  • Life, disability, and long-term care insurance
  • Any other financial topic important to you

Spouses, significant others, and family members are welcome to attend appointments.

How to Access This Benefit

Each semester, we coordinate with Stacey Braun Associates to offer in-person appointments at the FIT union office for members who prefer to meet face-to-face.

If you are unable to attend on-campus dates, you can still access this benefit at any time by contacting Stacey Braun Associates directly to schedule a virtual or alternative appointment:

These services are fully paid for by UCE of FIT and are free to dues-paying members and retirees.

This is one more way your union works to support not only your workplace rights, but your long-term financial security.
